Lucy and Efe were blessed with a gorgeous April day for their Yorkshire/Nigerian wedding. Hurrah for sunshine! The day started at Holy Trinity church in Thurgoland before heading over to Bagden Hall in Denby Dale.
A highlight of the day was definitely the dancing. Lucy and Efe had prepared a choreographed first dance with lifts and everything! Very impressive. It became evident to Lucy throughout the day that her fabulous wedding dress wasn't going to work for this dance so she temporarily switched outfits with a bridesmaid. Then followed a second costume change into traditional Nigerian dress for a custom of dancing round the couple and pressing dollar bills onto them. Then everyone broke out into into a group line-dance. It was a great way to end to a day of celebrating Lucy and Efe.
